After learning about MudLOVE several months ago, I knew that I wanted to be involved with their project in one way or another. I reached out to them and they agreed to send me a bracelet of choice so I could help promote the MudLOVE mission through social media, my blog, and my social circles.

I chose their Cursive Love band in Rootbeer with a turquoise elastic. I love that each band tells a story and is the opportunity to start a very necessary conversation. This piece is handmade in Indiana and like the rest of their pieces, provides one FULL week of clean, safe water to someone who otherwise wouldn’t have access to it.

MudLOVE isn’t just any old accessories line, in fact, they don’t just produce jewelry, they also produce mugs. MudLOVE was established in 2009 and has always been focused on supporting clean water projects in Africa.

MudLOVE has since partnered with Water for Good, meaning that every single product you purchase provides ONE WEEK of clean water to someone in need. That means that by paying $8-$12 for a handmade bracelet, or $19 for a handmade mug, you are literally changing the life of someone who doesn’t have access to basic necessities like safe, clean drinking water, in one of the world’s most neglected countries, the Central African Republic.

Currently, approximately 750 MILLION people lack access to clean water – which is more than twice the population of the United States. It is estimated that women and children spend 140 million hours combined each day collecting water.

Since MudLOVE began in 2009, they’ve been able to give $330,000 from purchases of their products to support the work of Water for Good. You can help!

MudLOVE was kind enough to give our readers a huge discount to use at checkout for 20% off their purchases using the code ‘wolf‘. So please, wolves, take advantage and help MudLOVE change the lives of those in need, today. They can’t do it without you! Also, be sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to stay up to date with their projects!
