Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale: HAUL

graphic

This weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale in Markham, Ontario with one of my MUA friends. I had never attending one of their warehouse sales before, and I had heard mixed reviews though my research prior to the event. I wasn’t sure what the deals would be like, what the finds would be, and if I’d have to elbow an old lady out of the way to get my hands on a Mac lipstick. I set a budget for myself – because, let’s be honest, as a beauty blogger, it’s kind of easy to go a little overboard when in a place stocked with makeup discounted at 70% – and made a mental note of the things I was looking for, and then we were on our way!

The lineup was a little unexpected, as can be seen via the look on my face below (panoramic for the win!):

But we made it through in approximately half an hour, which wasn’t terrible. It certainly kept the buildings from feeling too overwhelming or congested.

My primary goal was to purchase some new MAC lipsticks that I didn’t already have, and thankfully, as I entered the building, there was a table of $10 lippies with three MAC lipsticks, all of which I purchased, because, WHAT A STEAL. I got Ruby Woo, Strange Journey, and PeachStock, all of which I’m obsessed with.

I ended up also finding Estee Lauder’s Little Black Primer, a Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Foundation, my three MAC lippies, Smashbox Pore and Fine Line Primer, Smashbox Eyeshadow Cream in Sapphire, a Clinique gift set, MAC blender, MAC silver nailpolish, and MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Bronzer all for under $100, including my $5 donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

I was super impressed:

I would highly recommend this event to just about anyone who loves high-end makeup for amazing prices. We went on the second day (it’s a three day event) and only a few products were already sold out from the day before. They have a variety of perfume sets, eyeshadow palettes, lippies, mascaras, and foundations, all for a significantly reduced price!

Now, for a few pictures of me playing with my new goodies 😉 First up, Rubywoo:
