Happy Saturday Everyone!

I hope you all had a happy Valentine’s Day filled with love, romance, your favourite people, and sappy movies. I was lucky enough to be treated to a beautiful dinner at The Olde School House Restaurant in Brantford, Ontario. This place has so much history – the Queen even ate here in 1997! The inside was beautifully decorated for Valentine’s Day, with red balloons floating above chairs, dim lighting and candles, and a piano player taking requests and playing classic love songs over the sound system. I had Saganaki (Greek cheese flamed in lemon and ouzo), vegetarian primavera, and two crantinis. It was heavenly, classy, and timeless.

My beauty look for the night:

Was completed using Galaxy Chic’s Aphrodite eye shadow and POP lip plumper from my February Ipsy bag.

After dinner, I was presented with a gorgeous, real rose that had been dipped in 24 carat gold. A rose is a symbol of love and beauty and the gold-dipped rose is symbolic of the immortality of said love and beauty. This gift was sentimental and so truly touching.

As if this wasn’t more than I could’ve ever imagined, I returned home to a LaSenza gift card and pamper package to a spa, which I am very much looking forward to taking full advantage of next weekend!

I am so truly blessed to have someone in my life who knows me so well and treats me like gold. I am touched, humbled, spoiled, and so indescribably in love.
